Funding
It is projected that approximately 70% of its income will come from grant funding from the NSW Government through departments such as Community Services, Health, Ageing and Disability, as well as the Motor Accidents Authority of NSW. The balance is expected to be generated by membership fees, training workshop fees, special project work and donations.
ACIA acknowledges the following for their support to date:
- Motor Accidents Authority of NSW - initial funding for the network and three years funding for Executive Officer, Part-time for ACIA. Accommodation and support and individual grants for equipment.
- Westmead Hospital Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service - prior to the commencement of ACIA.
- IAG (NRMA) - sponsorship for Quality Forum in November 2005.
