ACIA Endorsed Certification to the ACIMSS - Training in Your Organisation
As a quality management program that is setting the bar in best practice attendant care service delivery, ACIA encourages all Australian attendant care service providers to enrol in and achieve ACIA endorsed certification to the ACIMSS. To support attendant care providers to achieve endorsed certification, ACIA conducts forums and education workshops to assist providers to gain an in-depth understanding the quality program and what it might mean for their organisation.
In response to feedback from members, ACIA is now offering ACIMSS education programs delivered to service providers within their own organisation. These sessions will aim to provide a cross-section of the organisation - from senior management to coordinators and other staff - an opportunity to explore and discuss all components of the program within the context of their own organisation.

ACIA/ADHC NSW: Attendant Care Service Provider ACIMSS Project
Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC) is supporting a number of approved Attendant Care Program (ACP) service providers in NSW to enhance their capacity and quality systems in order to improve client outcomes, meet the NSW Disability Service Standards (DSS) and comply with the NSW Disability Services Act (DSA).
ADHC’s Attendant Care and Physical Disability Unit (ACPDU) has engaged ACIA to provide support to a number of ACP service providers to prepare for enrolment in the Attendant Care Industry Association (ACIA) endorsed quality certification program – the Attendant Care Industry Management System Standard (ACIMSS).
This exciting project is supporting service providers to deliver high quality, low risk services to ACP service users.
